Sustaining Industry Partners

AVAS is grateful for the partnership and support of our Corporate Partners and is committed to the best evidence-based practices and believes in partnering with the device and accessory manufacturing community to bring about evidence-based innovations in vascular access.

We believe that these evidence-based outcomes not only benefit our patients and healthcare providers, but also corporate industry who create the technology we use. Thus corporate industry partners play an important role in improving patient care and ongoing research.

AVAS can help industry partners to identify and utilise the clinical specialist expertise. As a professional society, we endeavour to have corporate industry recognised for its contributions in vascular access healthcare and strongly believe that without industry, we do not have innovation and technology. AVAS strives to have an organisation that gives back to industry as much as industry gives unto it.

The professional meeting calendar is a busy one and to minimise delegate and sponsor fatigue the AVAS board decided to move to biennial AVAS Meetings, specifically to complement the NZ Infusion Nursing Society Meeting but also in acknowledgement of the other Australian Specialty Group Societies that AVAS members may wish to attend and contribute to (e.g. Oncology, Intensive Care, Infection Control). This gives us the opportunity to collaborate with these groups and also give AVAS State Chapters to run local events.

However, in this new media age we are keen to enhance our digital footprint and web offerings to members also. In 2018 we are planning to upgrade the AVAS website and include video and audio podcasts of key presentations and seminars from local and international meetings As part of this we would like to offer you the opportunity to become a Sustaining Industry Partner with AVAS. The cost of this is $500 (+GST) a year. Please note availability will be limited.

In return for your investment you get:

  • acknowledgement on the AVAS website through logo on Sustaining Partner’s page/banner
  • acknowledgement through logo on the quarterly e-Newsletter to all AVAS members
  • acknowledgement at the Annual and Extraordinary General Meetings
  • one annual membership for a named representative with associated benefits (worth $160)

Your contribution will help AVAS continue to grow and fulfill our mission to promote and improve safety and excellence for Vascular Access care and outcomes. Look forward to hearing your response to this unique offer.
